GETTING TO ROME

•  by Air

Rome is reachable by air via the Leonardo da Vinci Airport , located in Fiumicino, 30 km (18 miles) from Rome. How to get to the city of Rome : participants can take the Leonardo Express train shuttle, which leaves from the airport every 30 minutes and arrives at the Termini train station, conveniently located in downtown Rome (cost: 9,50 Euros) or hire a taxi (approximately cost: 50 Euros).

In addition there are a number of cheap flight companies going to Rome from European locations.

•  by Rail

Rome is reachable by Eurostar from London, Paris and Brussels, and by regular train from a number of other European cities. Rome's central train station is conveniently located in the heart of Rome's historical district. List of European railway companies .

•  by Car

Rome is easily reachable by car, thanks to Italy's main motorway, the Autostrada del Sole (A1), which runs from the north to the south of the peninsula.

 

TRANSPORTATION WITHIN THE CITY

Numerous bus lines connect all areas of the city. The underground has two lines, line A and line B. The two lines intersect at Termini Railway station . Tickets can be purchased at tobacco shops and news-stands.

 

HOW TO REACH ERGIFE PALACE HOTEL

The easiest way to reach the Ergife Palace Hotel is by underground. Take underground line "A" . Stop at "Cornelia"   direction "Battistini" (10 minutes walking distance from the hotel).

A shuttle service from stop "Cornelia" to the Ergife Palace Hotel and vice versa will be provided during the Conference days.
